Outcrop Climbing Experiences

Outcrop climbing is the sport of climbing crags between 10m and 40m high.

Climbing routes of this length opens up vast amounts of high quality rock, in some stunning locations and without the need for complicated mountaineering skills.

Climbing shorter cliffs makes for an exciting and social experience, where everyone is within sight and speaking range. Meaning groups can offer encouragement (of all types!) and share in the success of their friends and family.

Rock Climbing with EverydayClimbing in Scotland is a great way to experience not only the wealth and variety Scottish rock has to offer, but also the magnificent and awe-inspiring scenery, the wide open spaces and the clean fresh air.

Climbing in Cairngorms National Park Area, The North-West Highlands or The Central Highlands is an unforgettable experience and we run courses at several venues ideal for any size group. Every venue have a selection of routes at different grades, allowing anyone to try climbing for the first time or develop their skills; and have a great time doing it.

We have listed some of our most popular venues below, but if you have specific requirements, an objective in mind or if the listed venues are not convenient enough, please get in touch and we will be happy to help you out!

Prices quoted are for full day experiences, and includes a qualified, insured and encouraging instructor and all required equipment. Our max ratios are 1 instructor per 6 clients, but we don’t charge anything extra after the fourth person, meaning this is a great value activity for groups. We offer increasingly generous discounts for multi-day bookings, so the more you climb, the cheaper it gets! Please contact us for more information.

If you looking for a bigger climbing experience, take look at our Mountain Crag Experiences or our Scrambling and Mountaineering Experiences.

This impressive, steep and sheltered crag lies in a steep gorge and upon first sight, is quite imposing!

Up to 25m tall and with numerous overhangs, this crag gives the impression of being much harder to climb than it actually is. However, fantastic handholds leading sneakily through the steep sections mean you can experience some pretty exciting terrain at a really accessible grade.

Great for smaller groups.
