The North face of Ben Nevis is perhaps the most famous cliff in Scotland. Alpine in length and character, it holds 100's of classic and sought after lines.
Fitting of the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis contains some of the finest mountaineering in the land. With unique winter climbing sought out by mountaineers from all over the world. Fine rock climbs of alpine proportions. It's got it all, just maybe not perfectly predictable weather.

Pre-requisites
Strong summer hillwalking experience required for the approach to and return from the crag. No prior rock-climbing experience required for the easier climbing routes. Prior experience is required for routes graded Hard-Severe or above. Please see our Grades Explained Page for more details.

Additional information
Single day experiences typically start at 9am and finish at 4:30pm. Please note that remote crags or long routes require the experience to start earlier and finish later than this. You may climb one long route or several shorter routes in a day, dependant on ability and time. You will be guided on the routes by an independently qualified, fully insured and competent Rock Climbing and Mountaineering Instructor. The instructor will choose routes based on your experience, fitness and preferences and will aways try to give you several options. All climbing equipment required for the route and instruction on its use is included. Clients may use their own equipment following an inspection by the Instructor. Clients must ensure they bring appropriate clothing as listed on our kit list page. In case of dangerous weather conditions an alternative activity or a full refund will be offered.
